Leader group
We are with 16 enthusiastic leaders
I have been with part of Chiro Kadee in Appels for 15 years (for site click image) and have been in charge as a leader since
last year. Chiro, for me, is a way to relax even if it gives you much more work after school. Every Friday
night we come together for a meeting (called Leiderskring) where we discuss all sorts of items and make
group decisions. Here, you really learn to work as a team and you gain tons of experience!
I also study after-school about cyber security and ethical hacking. I find this very interesting because the subject is very wide and full of nice information!
I have played volleyball for 11 years at "VC Oudegem" and "JTV Dero". We played champion twice in that
period.
I am a fanatic skier with 15 years of experience. In the following years I plan to focus more on off-piste.
I like to game a lot, but because of school and being a leader on the Chiro I hardly have time here
to do so.
My biggest interest at the IT level is networking and everything that comes with it.
I present photos with a brief explanation!

Awarded with the leader's cord.
Every year, the Chiro organizes a 10-day camp where I am part of the organization this year and of the animation team.
I have worked several times in the Delhaize of Dendermonde and Sint-Gillis within various functions.
I work as a job student at the independent garden contractor Steven Cammerman who owns the company "NUT".
In the Hogent we have a subject called ITalent. This course is about self-development, cultural differences, theoretically lauching an application, start-ups, how different people use the internet, etc. Below are the various phases that I would like to discuss and which reflect my evaluation.
There is a professional personality test made with 4 different results. Dominant, Influential, Stable or Conscientious. I scored about the same for each trait. However, my Conscientious trait stood out.
This means that I am a perfectionist. It's true because I want to know every detail so that my work can be as perfect as possible. We have also learned to work with people with a different quality than our own. This was of course no problem for me because of all my experience.
We had to carry out a study on the power difference between 2 countries. I chose France and Denmark.

In this assignment the incentive was to explain two intercultural conflicts that we experienced.
For my experience in and reflection on this situation you can always click

Throughout the second semester we had to come up with an application in a group and then work it out the business side. Our application is called "deten". For more info click here. We were expected to think in group, to advertise, to pitch, ...
In addition to all mandatory assignments, I also pitched our application to fellow students, teachers and a jury, which makes a total of 75 people.
This was a test to observe our evolution as a student. I have scored 19 points on perfectionist, 19 on questioner and 3 on romantic. Questioner and perfectionist are certainly correct. I always want to complete my work to perfection and I think asking questions is the best way to gain knowledge!
This test showed that I am primarily a team player. This also corresponds to how I feel about it. I learn much more and better in a team than alone. This of course does not mean that I cannot take my responsibility alone!
I achieved the ENTP result. This means Extrovert, Intuitive, Thinking and Perception. These characteristics correspond well with how I have evolved over the years. I have become more loose and act more logically rather than on feeling. I am intuitive and broad-minded!
We had to make the Ofman test to make us think about all our pros and cons. What you are good at, what you blame yourself for, ... This provided a very insightful experience.
